Food Review: Spicy Asian Chicken Salad Lettuce Cups June 4 2019
I had just recently ate and created a dish named Spicy asian chicken salad lettuce cups. It had lettuce, lime, onions, cilantro, chicken, chile sauce, and some peppers. It had been covered in lettuce like it was a wrap and had seemed red and green. It had seemed bright red with a dark green there had seemed to be more lettuce. The taste was pretty god I think the amounts could have been varied more.
The chicken had seemed like a base to the flavors that were to come. It had a sweetness and a spiciness and a little bit sour. I think that there should’ve been more chicken to balance the flavors. Towards the end of eating the food the thing that is left is sauce and lime juice. It seems very noticeable that there hadn’t been that much chicken and peppers. The lettuce had added a crunch and is refreshing but doesn’t provide much flavor.
It was a mix of texture with the softness of the chicken to the crunch of the lettuce and peppers. It had also seemed to not be wrapped well and the juice and the sauce would sometimes spill out. The lettuce portions was just a collection of smaller chunk of lettuce. It did not hold together well even when there had been too much lettuce. I would recommend getting larger parts of the lettuce and too balance the flavors a bit more so that they compliment each other.
