Bonneville Salt Flats June 3
I had gone on a trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats. It had sand and salt everywhere and had seemed like white sand. There had also been a salty water nearby and tire tracks on the sand. There were also some trash laying nearby but the land was overall flat and you could see the mountains. I learned that the water nearby wasn’t very deep and had the illusion of walking on water.
My friends and I had been playing around and finding random things on the beach. We had seen a rusty lock and a unbroken bottle of glass full of sand with salt all over it. I would recommend that you would bring shoes that you don’t care about getting dirty the salt makes the shoes turn white. I also wouldn’t recommend walking on the beach barefoot unless you’re very careful there is sometimes broken glass.
It had also been hot and dry I would think the most amazing moment of the trip is coming out of the bus to see the Salt Flats. I think that the lake looked nice with the color of the sand.
Bowling at the U May 31
So recently I had gone up to the University of Utah to go bowling in the lower floor of the University. Last time i’ve gone the campus looked different and had some added some buildings. In the beginning of the game I had started out strong and had a spare. Towards the end of the game I had been doing worse and worse. I later tied at first place and had returned my shoes to the person managing the games.
While I had been bowling I had noticed the thing converting the ball to the bowler had seemed old. It was pretty bright and was next to the window that shows the campus. After I finished I had went upfront near the couches and the other games, it had seemed empty. I noticed that the pool tables had also seemed old/vintage but has the U of U logo. I would recommend that you bring some money for the other games and the bowling and that you get snack before you get there.
I thought that towards the end of the trip that it had seemed pretty chill. I think some people went to the cafeteria while other continued playing. I would also recommend that you wear appropriately to the weather. For me it got hot so I took off my jacket for a bit and got some water. I think the best moments were either bowling or chilling out in the lobby.

Capitol and Tunnel Springs May 30
I had went on a trip to the capitol then to tunnel springs. There had been lots of plants in both places. They had different colors to them the capitol had seemed green and the park seemed tan. From Tunnel Spring you could see the whole valley and see the city and the lakes. The Capitol had a good garden and you could see the hill and some of the city. One thing I learned from the trip is that there is cacti on the hill nearby.
At Tunnel Springs there was a hill that some were walking up. These kids named Joseph and Jordan went up all the way even when it was steep. They had finally gone up but there was cacti and ants near them. They had finally decided to go down but had to crawl. I would recommend that you bring a lot of water and dress for the heat. I would recommend not to go up the hill.
The capitol was nice and the garden was very calming. There was water nearby and people sometimes bring their dogs to the pond. It’s also pretty shady in some of the areas. I liked going to the capitol the benches had shade and you can see the statues in front of the building.
